Day Two Program Logistics

• The "pre-lunch" Groundtruth Team (Team A) will collect data from Forest Ecosystem Assessment Site1.

• The "pre-lunch" Mission Control Team (Team B) will record data transmitted from the Groundtruth Team and complete the required research data analysis, and bird observation/recording within the Bird Cafe.

• Mission Groundtruth 21 Teams A and B will reverse roles for the after lunch session; however, the Groundtruth Team will collect data from Forest Ecosystem Assessment Site 2 to minimize environmental impact.

• Both Mission Groundtruth Teams A and B will join together for the final session; e.g., Ecosystem Assessment Results, Ecosystem Functions and Values Forum, and Facilitator Conclusions.

Day Two Program Schedule

9 am	Arrival (restroom use, hang up coats etc.
9: 15 am	Mission Groundtruth 21 Introduction • Mission Statement • Groundtruth Team Readiness (equipment, supplies, workbooks, etc.) • Mission Control team Readiness (equipment, supplies, workbooks, etc.)
9:30 am	Groundtruth Team Forest Ecosystem Assessment: GPS coordinates, Quarter Point Surveys (relative density, mean area, relative dominance, canopy cover, light intensity, soil pH, soil moisture, birds, and historical information) from Forest Ecosystem Assessment (FEA) Site 1.
9:30 am	Mission Control Team Forest Ecosystem Assessment: Recording, researching, and analyzing field data from FEA Site 1, and bird feeder observations/recording and weather monitoring/recording.
10:45 am	Cleanup
11 am	Lunch
